Tom McMillan has more than 20 years of experience across agency based and internal investor relations, corporate communications, and marketing roles. Across 25 companies he has packaged more than CA$3 billion in M&A transactions, CA$2.6 billion in financings, and won numerous accolades including IR magazine’s best investor relations for a mid-cap company (2022). Tom’s focus is capital market turnarounds, where he helps companies implement the systems and communications required to drive stronger engagement with both the buy and sell sides of the street. He helped Parkland Corporation (TSX:PKI) deliver a 197% improvement in its share price over 56 months, and Stantec (TSX:STN) deliver a 155% improvement in its share price over 30 months. He has led and worked with multidisciplinary teams to manage organizational change, crisis communications, activist investors, employee engagement, government relations, and marketing. Tom holds an MBA from the University of Calgary, and a Bachelor of Science from the University of British Columbia.
